Commentary
Isaiah 52:13 opens the fourth Servant Song with the promise of exaltation, creating a frame around the suffering described in 52:14-53:12. The pattern is: exaltation announced (52:13), suffering described (52:14-53:11), exaltation confirmed (53:12). This is the pattern of the gospel: incarnation, crucifixion, resurrection.
